Lei is an evolving Production Designer based in Los Angeles and Hangzhou. She holds a BA from the China Academy of Art and will receive her MFA in Production Design from UCLA in 2026. With a background in painting and fine art, she brings a strong foundation in color, value, and composition, along with a refined observational sensitivity to her design practice. Her work is grounded in research and textual analysis, shaping narrative structures and fictional worlds through cohesive and nuanced visual systems.
